WSH concentrates its efforts in the legal representation of persons, firms and companies engaged in commercial construction and government contract activities primarily throughout the State of Georgia and the Southeast. This firm has represented all parties in the construction process, including material suppliers, subcontractors, specialty and general contractors, architects and engineers, developers and owners, as well as sureties and insurance carriers.

WSH has tried, arbitrated or mediated cases in federal and state courts in more than twenty-five (25) jurisdictions and the firm's partners have all served on numerous occasions as arbitrators, mediators or case evaluators throughout the United States under the auspices of both public agencies and private organizations.

Among the significant projects in which WSH has participated on behalf of one or more parties are: resolution of claims for construction of the Superdome in New Orleans; litigation of claims involving treatment plants in Atlanta, Mobile, Tallahassee, Rochester and the Philadelphia area; the resolution of claims involving the construction of classroom buildings, student housing, laboratories and recreational facilities at Georgia Tech, Emory University, University of Georgia and Spelman College; the formation, negotiation and administration of contracts and dispute resolution of claims in the construction of low-rise and high-rise office buildings and condominiums in Buckhead, Midtown and downtown Atlanta; and the preparation of contract documents and conducting of bidding processes for a large convention center in close proximity to the Atlanta Airport.
